• Why Hire a Professional?
As easy as it looks to buy some paint and throw it on a face not everyone is going to give you a professional job. As we mentioned earlier, we use only high quality products and have done extensive research on what we use for our designs. In this field there have been horror stories about people having reactions and scarring to their skin because someone used the incorrect products for face and body art. We constantly do research on the latest and greatest to keep things fun and fresh for our clients.
  • Are you insured? Yes. We are insured by Beauty and BodyWorks Insurance.
  • What areas do you cover? We are located in Rockford, MI and serve the West Michigan area. We are willing to travel further upon special request.
  • What sort of face paint do you use? All paints used are high quality FDA compliant cosmetic grade paints. They are designed for use on the skin and have a special anti-bacterial component. These are the same paints used in special effects and movies! All glitter is approved for cosmetic use and is safe around the eyes. As a company who cares about the environment we are in transition of using biodegradable cosmetic glitters!
  • Why is it so important to use professional cosmetics? “Non-Toxic” does not mean “safe for skin”. Acrylic paints (AKA craft paints) are NOT meant to be used on the skin, nor are watercolor paints, markers or pencils.  Many people are allergic to the non-FDA approved chemicals used in craft paints and products and will break out in a rash when used on the skin. Professional-grade cosmetic face paints have been thoroughly tested. They are designed to be easy to work with, long lasting, comfortable to wear, vibrant and most importantly, they are safe!
  • Are The Paints Easy to Remove? Most paint should wash off with soap and warm water or a baby wipe. However, some colors may be stubborn to remove. For this we recommend either make-up remover or our personal favorite coconut oil. Simply let it set for a minute on the stain and wipe off. Baby shampoo and baby oil are other alternatives as well.
  • Do I need to provide anythingWe provide all of the products, face paints and gear. We simply need a small area to set up with good lighting and shelter from the sun on hot days or from the wind and rain in bad weather. If you are able to provide a table and chair that would be appreciated or we can supply our own.
  • Do you do charity events? We love to help out and give back when we can. Message us and we can see what we can come up with to help you out.
  • Do you only do face painting? No. We also do baby bumps, body painting, and glitter tattoos! We have recently added henna to our services and really enjoy it as well. These are great on their own or to add to your face painting party! As we love art we are always up for trying new things so don’t hesitate to ask if there is something specific you want done.
